ALROSA says to unite October, November sales sessions

MOSCOW, Oct 15 (PRIME) -- Russian diamond producer ALROSA will unite the October and November sales sessions to support the diamond market balance, the company said in a statement on Thursday.

"Taking into account that part of the September session’s sales moved to October, we decided holding October session together with the November one, having notified our clients in an appropriate way," the company said.

The company also said that demand by diamond cutters was confirmed by sales figures of the August and September trading sessions with the latter starting on September 21 and lasting through early October. The results of the session will be shown for October.
